Meet the Founder

Ever since I was a little girl I loved candy, preferably chocolate. I also was a lover girl. Everything was sunshine rainbows and butterflies in my world. I loved making people feel special and thought of. Artejah was born from the belief that food can be more than something you eat it can become an experience with others.

This business started one summer where I read a book while I was in college called The Five Love Languages. It’s important to know your love language, but also love people in theirs. I quickly identified that receiving gifts is one of my top love languages. I would practice this thing called self care which seems to be one of the buzz words (everyone is practicing it.) and one day I decided to make a loved one and a nice kid chocolate covered strawberries. It quickly turned into gifting my deserts for other family members and friends.

What began as a creative outlet for my friends and family, quickly evolved into something more meaningful to them. They are the ones who inspired me to keep creating. I love making loved ones feel celebrated. And I love taking life’s little moments to catch up with my friends and celebrate life’s milestones. I hope my work can help someone you love feel celebrated or even enjoy a small treat to yourself. That is my mission.
